In partnership with, and hikes will take place at, the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto National Monument, we are offering hikes with the comfort of being led by an experienced and knowledgeable guide. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the activity. Thursday Morning Hike - Thursdays now through March 28, 8:45 - 11:15 a.m.
Wildflower Nature Walk - Saturdays, February 23 - March 23, 9 - 10:30 a.m.
Come discover the vast trails and beauty that the Coachella Valley has to offer. Hikes will be held on Saturday morning's meeting at the trailhead, and they will be lead by a certified Outdoor Recreation Guide.

The ed hastey trail
The Ed Hastey Trail offers an introduction to the natural wonders of the Coachella Valley desert for users of all abilities. This short (1/5 of a mile) paved loop around the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Visitor Center offers visitors a chance to experience native plants and desert wildflowers, birdwatching and other wildlife viewing, and views of the Coachella Valley and surrounding mountains. The trail is accessible to wheelchairs, strollers, and other mobility aids. Trips for Kids Coachella Valley is a mountain biking program for youth 10 to 17 years of age that focuses on lessons in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness through the simple act of having fun.
