Lake Cahuilla Fishing Derby
We are happy to be a partner in this Fishing Derby on November 9, 2024 at Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park
RULES
Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park Fishing Derby is a skills
event that will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, and is
open to the general public and anglers of all ages.
All tackle boxes, bait and associated fishing items that can
carry quagga mussel larvae will be inspected.
Please have all fishing equipment dry and clean. All unsealed
fishing bait canisters will not be allowed into the park per CVWD
quagga mussel regulations.
• Gates open at 2:00 p.m. Registration from 2:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m.
Derby hours: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Catholic Charities Food Distribution
No paperwork is required to obtain food at this free event; food is distributed on a first come, first served basis beginning at 8 a.m. until food is gone. This is a drive-thru distribution and food will be placed in your vehicle.
North Shore Beach & Yacht Club, 99-155 Sea View
Drive, North Shore.
Food is distributed on Wednesdays each week, beginning at 8 a.m.
until all food is distributed.
FIND Food Bank Distribution
Food is distributed on a first come, first served basis. Please bring your own bags to carry food given out. Food is distributed until it is gone.
FIND FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS will be held as follows during the COVID-19 situation:
Indio Hills Community Center, 80-400 Dillon
Road, Indio Hills
2nd Friday of the month from: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
or until all food is disbursed.
